If anyone depends on you financially at the time of retirement you very likely need some life insurance. Term life insurance is usually the type of life insurance chosen. There are funeral expenses that need to be paid on your death.
You may feel that if you have sufficient savings or if your dependents have sufficient savings then you don’t need to have any life insurance at all.
